Keep on the Sunnyside Event

On June 6, 2024, the Nashville Historical Foundation (formerly known a MHC Foundation) hosted more than 150 people at the newly restored Sunnyside Mansion complex located in Sevier Park off of 12th Avenue South/Granny White Pike. The successful event raised nearly $50,000 and guests explored the mansion and grounds after more than two years of renovation and restoration. The main house dates back to the 1850s, but the renovation uncovered many historic surprises including the original 1822 log cabin located within the interior walls of one of the structures as well as Civil War bullets embedded into the side of the main house. The fundraiser also served as the launch for a new Nashville Sites tour for Sunnyside and Sevier Park.
